The advantages of Copper clad aluminum wire:

      1. DC Resistivity: the dc resistivity of copper clad aluminum wire is just 1.5 times than that of pure copper wire, and as the resistive rate is the same, copper clad aluminum wires weight is about half of the pure copper wire, so according to the skin effect, on the point of or above the 5MHZ, the resistive rate is the same with pure cooper wire.

     2, Well welded: cooper clad aluminum wire has the good welding capability as the pure cooper wire for its surface covered with a layer of cooper
